Martin Rusell paid a visit to the UCD AFC Summer Soccer Camp this morning.
Martin Russell has spent the last number of years working with the finest young talent in UCD as he looks to mould a squad capable of competing in the Airtricity League Premier Division, a tough job by anyone's standards. The pressure was off somewhat this morning as Martin took on the task of passing on a few skills to the next generation of potential UCD stars.
The step overs were out in force as Martin put the boys and girls of the UCD AFC Summer Soccer Camp through their paces. Starting with a few simple fake and takes, leading to the famous double step over and finishing with the essential acceleration there was nothing left to chance. It was not just the kids who were impressed as Ger Barron, Barry McCabe, David O'Connor and Paul O'Conor looked on in awe as Martin rolled back the years and lead by example.
